Job Title: Store Officer

Location: Lagos Mainland (Surulere), Nigeria  

Employer: Chefyvys Fast Foods Nig. Limited

Job Description:

•   To ensure the timely and correct completion of buyer's forms and other documents in respect of job orders, ensure maximum security of all storeroom areas, that no unauthorized person gain entry into the store or allowed access into the store.

•   To ensure the ordering of supply of goods and that maximum/minimum stock levels are maintained.etc.

Key Function:

•   To order all items through approved suppliers only obtaining permission for ordering if any items are not available through an alternative source.

•   To ensure that goods received are of the quality and quantity ordered and in accordance with the agreed price or preferably a cost effective price.

•   Post information on bin cards or other records, requisition and related documents.

•   Managing stock inventory and giving reports.

•   Maintaining inventory control, accounts for discrepancies.

•   Making recommendation concerning stock levels and items to be stocked.

•   Purchase relevant items for the store.

•   Record and distribute items to users daily.

•   Measurement of all items before distribution to the users.

•   Making bio monthly market survey of the relevant materials and items.

•   Monthly stock taking with the auditors.

•   Framework & Boundaries: As directed and instructed by the Managing director


•   Superior: Chairman, MD and GM

•   Colleague: HR/Admin, Quality control, and Outlet managers

•   Subordinate: Supervisors and officers

Qualification required for the job holder:

•   HND in stores Management or BSC in any Social Sciences Courses

•   Additional Qualification: Professional Qualification Institute of Stores Management

Key factor: Experience in similar position

Required Skills:

•   Knowledge of the characteristics, features and uses of items supplied.

•   Knowledge of the objectives of supply system operations.

•   Ability to perform mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

•   Ability to lift heavy objects and perform prolonged physical labour.

•   Portrays honesty, integrity and accountability attributes.

•   Unethical behavior (e.g. fighting, theft etc) should be avoided.

NB: All Candidate must reside in Surulere and environs such as Lawanson, Yaba, Ojuwelegba, Costain, Aguda, Itire, Orile, Kilo, Jibowu and Masha.
