Mexico moves up to 9th in FIFA ranking

Following the recent Gold Cup triumph, Mexico moved up to the top ten in the latest FIFA rankings. Mexico national team, El Tri, slipped into ninth, just behind Croatia and ahead of Argentina.

The United States, losing finalist in that competition, slipped two spots to 24th place.
