The immediate past dean of the Faculty of Technology, Professor Funsho Akeredolu has given a report card on his tenure as the dean of the faculty.

- Review of the Faculty Budget such that more money is released to Departments.
- Periodical release of Departmental accredited journals to all academic staff
- Boosting of the research activities of individual researchers in the Faculty
- Catalyzing industry-academia partnerships in the constituent Departments of the Faculty
- Provision of positive, high integrity and focused leadership
- Mobilization of the alumni to greater involvement in sponsoring Department/Faculty-based development activities
- Linkages with Overseas institutions for maximum benefit to our faculty members
