Gombe State University Students Perish In Motor Accident

Six students of Gombe State University (GOMSU) has been killed in a motor accident on Sunday while they were travelling past Sharfuri village of Bauchi State.

The students were identified as; Adamu Mohammed A. of the Department of Education, Musa Sadi Abubakar of the Department of English, Garba Mariam Anne of the Department of English, Suzy Stephen of the Department of English, Kamila Yunusa also of the Department of English and a yet to be identified person.

The incident was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Haruna Mohammed who said that the auto crash occurred at about 3.15pm and the victims were travelling in a red Vento car with registration number DAL 195-GJ.

He said they were rushed to the Alkaleri General Hospital where they were confirmed dead by the doctor on duty. He said the corpses were deposited at the hospital mortuary while investigation was in progress on the incident.
