Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish wants to tie up a deal for Wigan's Charles N'Zogbia this weekend.

McLeish wants Aston Villa owner Randy Lerner and his chief executive Paul Faulkner to snap up £10m-rated N'Zogbia quickly.

Sunderland and Newcastle have both enquired about the midfielder but the fee and his £60,000-a-week wage demands have put them off.
