WHAT WE NEED:

• Applicants should have grounded knowledge in purchase/supply of oil and gas commodities.

• Candidates are expected to have minimum of 5 years hands on experience in a related field.

• Applicants should be able to respond quickly when market conditions change, managers must develop effective communication processes.

• Ability to build mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers so that the entire supply chain works in a cooperative way.

• Ability to look after the entire planning process, including procurement, manufacturing, inventory control, distribution and logistics.

• Applicants would be responsible for making sure that each step of the process is being performed effectively so as to rule out lost sales opportunity and costly delays.

• Ability to communicate with key personnel and line managers in the procurement, manufacturing, inventory control, distribution and logistics department of the organization to ensure that they understand his objectives.

• Ability to arrange the distribution of the product and ensure that sales can be achieved effectively.

• Applicants should be able to maintain good relationships with vendors and ensure that the flow of materials remain unhampered.

• Ability to develop and maintain documentation in support of key supplier and development initiatives.
