CAUTION TO REDUCING FLOOD IN LAGOS AND OTHER AREAS

The  danger is looming in the  future for  many Lagos inhabitants and other cities ever known for building houses where a very large volume of water is displaced and those areas near the gorges.

To better prevent   flood  occurrences  in the future, the authority concerned must begin to expand ,reconstruct all bottle-necked gutters ,open all canals, drainage  systems that links to the rivers and lagoons and the support with more dredges. While waste disposal management should be turned to a fast gear to avoid street and water congestion
Indeed many houses and  especially the companies located on streets and along roads within the cities have no gutter or if any at all,  a rickety ones.
