Role Responsibilities: – To manage and develop procurement staff – To develop and implement procurement strategies and policies – To build and develop relationships with key suppliers – To prepare, approve and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policy – To forecast procurement needs. – To examine macro trends in supplier and contract base. – To create cost analysis, discounted cash flow analysis.

Qualifications: – Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma in business, supply chain, economics or engineering/science. – An experienced professional in all aspects of procurement of goods and services in an oil producing company. – 10-15 years' relevant experience in a progressive supply chain role. – E&P operations experience is most preferred. – Must have a good  knowledge of Supplier Relationship Management processes.

Personal qualities: – The ability to manage change in a multi-cultural environment is also required – Ability to gather and analyze data and to work with figures – Must have good analytical sense with ability to make good decisions – Strong leadership capabilities.
