Boehner says upcoming deficit legislation is solid

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner said on Friday that deficit reduction legislation due for a House vote next week is "a solid plan" for moving forward toward an increase in the U.S. debt limit.
