BAGANA and Guto communities in Nasarawa and Kogi states respectively have appealed to President Goodluck Jonathan to complete the Bagana-Guto Bridge and road project he flagged-off sometime ago.

In a letter addressed to the President and made available to The Guardian, the two communities, under the umbrella of Bagana-Guto Community Development Forum, said, "the bridge is the only visible federal government project we are witnessing and benefiting from."

They noted that although the bridge has served as a source of employment to their residents since it was flagged-off by the president, its non-completion has deprived not only the two communities, but also other Nigerians residing in Northern and Southern part of the country the full benefits that would have accrued to them.

The communities urged the President to, as a matter of urgency, complete the bridge, as it will support their agricultural and farming endeavours and enhance post-harvest management, security and safety of people that will be the bridge to travel to the eastern and northern parts of the country.
