The management of the University has opened the institution for admission into various undergraduate programmes for the session 2011/2012; which is also the pioneer session. The University will be admitting students into 9 departments spanning 3 faculties.

Admission Policy

The policy to guide admission of fresh students into Samuel Adegboyega University comprises the following:
•   All candidates applying to study in Samuel Adegboyega University must register and sit for the JAMB –UTME
•   Admission into Samuel Adegboyega University is not possible without candidates participating in post – UTME screening exercise organized by the University.
•   To qualify for the post – UTME screening exercise of Samuel Adegboyega University, a candidate must have scored a minimum aggregate of 180 in the current JAMB –UTME.
•   The University intends to pursue the ratio of 60 (Science) : 40 (Humanities and Social and Management Sciences).
•   Samuel Adegboyega University shall be non-discriminatory in terms of race, colour, religion and tribe. www.theinfostride.com
•   Admission shall be by merit; however The Apostolic Church, LAWNA Territory and the Niger Delta zone shall enjoy some privileges as catchment's areas.
•   All students admitted into Samuel Adegboyega University shall be residential and subject to all rules and regulations governing studentship and accommodation in the University as well as the halls of residence.
•   Candidates awaiting SSCE/NECO/GCE O/L/NABTEB examination results will be required to present acceptable qualification before matriculation.
•   Qualification for admission into all academic programmes should have been obtained at not more than two sittings in SSCE/WASCE/NECO. However, NABTEB and Teachers' Grade II certificates may be considered for Humanities and Social & Management programmes.
•   Prescribed fees can be paid twice.  The first installment (70%) at the point of registration and the second installment (30%) before commencement of the second semester.  It is however advisable to pay all the fees at once.  Defaulters will not be allowed into halls of residence, lecture rooms and all other facilities of the University.
