The purpose of the job will be to:
•   organise, manage and develop the work of Group 4 Securicor Nigeria Limited Risk Management Services in accordance with working protocols and supporting policies
•   contribute towards the formulation of the overall Risk Management Services Strategy and ensuring that it is successfully implemented.
Role Responsibility:
•   provide a Risk Management Services Development strategy that seeks to maximize people development, management and empowerment through quality skills development in order to accelerate transformation and service that will benefit the employees of Group 4 Securicor Nigeria Limited
•   take leadership of all vehicles, monitor and maintain all records and their maintenance, fuels, journey records
•   monitor all vehicle activities and track Drivers and log records and back up data
•   operational management of G4S Nigeria Limited Risk Management Services, which includes Profit & Loss responsibility of contract operations, business development and consultancy delivery and management
•   development of the G4S Nigeria Limited Risk Management Services business through the acquisition and maintenance of major contracts as per sales targets and set KPIs, which includes strategy development and business proposal writing

Experience Required:
•   Proven record of senior positions held in military, police or equivalent emergency service
•   Strong commitment, leadership and management skills across the spectrum of management competencies
•   Experience in change management, the development and implementation of growth strategies and mechanisms for sustained performance
•   Ability to identify key issues in complex business situations, analyse and understand causation and context, enabling effective decision-making
•   Computer literate with good typing skills

Qualification:
•   Relevant formal and/or technical tertiary qualification preferred

Knowledge and Understanding of:
•   Relevant local agencies and resources
•   Importance of confidentiality and safe working practice
•   Knowledge of the implementation of policies, systems, processes and procedures

Proven ability to:
•   Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, marketing and negotiation skills
•   Ability to work quickly and accurately and to prioritise within a demanding commercial environment
•   Strong analytical and numerical ability, with rigorous attention to detail
•   Experienced in living and working in a professional commercial capacity overseas (West Africa is advantageous)
•   Capable of inspiring and collaborating with team members in a multi-gender, multi-cultural and multi-ethnic environment
•   Ability to maintain strong ethical and professional values
•   Confident, autonomous and results orientated, with a clear determination to succeed
•   Ability to command respect amongst his peers
•   Work collaboratively as part of a team
•   Problem solving
•   Manage work in a professional way while meeting targets and deadlines
•   Maintain secure and accurate records, and produce reports on data collected for monitoring and evaluation purposes
