De Montfort University's (DMU) Vice Chancellor is delighted to offer a £1,000 scholarship to Indian nationals*.

There is no application process for the scholarship, it is awarded solely on academic merit. If you acheive the required grades, you will be automatically awarded the scholarship. You do however need to apply for and be accepted on to a course at De Montfort University.
The £1,000 scholarships will be paid towards the full tuition fees of students from India who wish to study the following types of full-time courses at DMU:

    * Postgraduate Diplomas and Masters courses (PGDip/MA/MSc/MBA/LLM) in any subject
    * MPhil/PhD research degrees in any subject

The scholarship is deducted from the full tuition fee at the beginning of the first year of study. Students progressing to DMU through one of our established progression schemes or collaborative partnerships may also be eligible for these scholarships. Successful scholarship applicants will be notified by email and by letter no later than 21 September.

To be considered for a scholarship you must apply for your DMU course by 21 August 2010. Find out more about the application process and view our broad range of courses.
