There are untapped talents in Nigeria, but the government do not pay attention to them.

The federal government ought to consolidate the efforts of people who are creative in the country, as it done in advanced countries.

Innovation, would be another source of revenue to Nigeria, instead of relying on crude oil. It would also put Nigeria in the lime-light, as a productive and not just a consumptive country.

Ahmed, a 15-year old boy, was seen with his generator propelled self-made car along Airport road, Abuja.

When asked by passersby, he explained how he made the generator propelled car.

Very interesting! This is a talent to nurture. It is just unfortunate that Nigerian government do not pay attention to such ingenuity.

Africa and Western countries are two worlds apart. In western countries, talent are nurtured right from the outset, till it matures and yields revenue for the countries involved.

In Nigeria, the reverse is the case. Talents are neglected until they are no more innovative and productive. Sometimes, if the talented fellows are lucky, they are snatched by western countries who know value and know their worth.
