Nigeria Job vacancies in Drilling Company for Chief Mechanic

An international ultra-deepwater drilling contractor currently in the process of mobilizing to Nigeria to embark on drilling campaign in the Nigerian waters is in dare need of Nigerian candidates to fill the following position(s):

Job Title: Chief Mechanic

Qualification:
•   Must be a Nigerian with at least 12 years offshore experience on a drilling rig or as an alternate 7 years minimum experience in a similar position with an offshore drilling contractor.

Basic Job Responsibilities:
•   Supervise and Lead in completing the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Repairs of Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic components of all Topside Drilling Equipment, Related Support Systems and Tubular Handling Equipment, pedestal Mounted Knuckle Boom Cranes and Heli-deck access crane.
