Edo workers begin indefinite strike over minimum wage

ANGRY workers in Edo State finally resolved yesterday to begin an indefinite strike today over the N18, 000 National Minimum Wage. The workers' main umbrella bodies, the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress (TUC) and the Joint Negotiation Council (NJC), at an emergency meeting held in Benin, the state capital, yesterday directed the workers to stay off work from today.
