As controversies continue to trail the award of the reconstruction of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, second runway in Abuja, the nation's capital, for N64 billion to Julius Berger Nigeria Plc, the Bureau of Public Procurement yesterday rose in stout defence of the contract insisting that nothing is phoney about the runway contract as it was thoroughly vetted by international experts under international best practices, allaying fears of over contract inflation.
