Robbie Keane Set To Join Beckham At LA Galaxy

Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit, Los Angeles Galaxy, have made a shock swoop for Tottenham outcast Robbie Keane.

The Irish striker, 31, has agreed a two-year contract worth £6million and could be on his way across the Atlantic next week.

Keane was poised to sign for Sven Goran Eriksson at Championship promotion chasers Leicester earlier this week, but the Galaxy then contacted his advisors with their lucrative proposal to play alongside David Beckham.

Following a disappointing loan spell at West Ham last season, Keane has been touted around Premier League clubs in an attempt to get his whopping £60,000-a-week wages off Spurs' books.
