Nigerian University designs anti-car theft devise

Concerned about the increasing rate of car theft in the country, the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso Oyo State, has designed a remotely controlled vehicle anti-theft system using the GSM technology. Aside from the drawback of inconsistency in the availability of GSM network in the country, the research work, the experts who made the design stated, will bring about a revolutionary change in the defense and security sector of the economy.
