The gulf between Acting President Dr. Goodluck Jonathan and governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is widening, 72 hours to the national executive committee meeting of the party.

Investigations by The Nation show that PDP governors, particularly those elected in 2007 and desirous of a second term, are having a rethink on their decision to allow the Acting President to take over the party structure through the removal of Prince Vincent Ogbulafor.
