A leading international player in marine services based in Port-Harcourt, River State currently recruiting to the following positions:

Job Title: Port Electrician

Duties & Responsibilities:
•   Maintenance of all electrical devices on board vessels.
•   Manage all technical tools under his care.
•   Prepare maintenance reports.
•   Maybe required to perform duties outside of normal responsibilities from time to time.

Line reporting & functional linkage:
•   Reports to the Technical Superintendent

Key skills and behavior:
•   Highly analytical and with good numeracy skills.
•   Able to work with detail but maintain an overview.
•   Good knowledge of marine equipment and materials
•   Able to work to deadlines with a minimum of supervision.
•   Good interpersonal skills.
•   Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Experience:
•   Good experience in an electrical maintenance department of a large Company.
•   Experience in a marine environment.

Education:
•   Electrical Engineering degree
•   Past experience as a Base Engineer is an added advantage.
