FITC is currently recruiting for the following position:

Job Title: Director, Authorisation and Policy

Academic Requirements:
•   Master's degree or equivalent qualification in any of the following disciplines: Finance, Policy and Strategy, Insurance, Accounting, Actuarial Science
•   Relevant professional qualification is essential
•   Minimum of 20 years relevant post graduate experience of which at least five years should be at a senior level in the financial services sector
•   Experience as a thought-leader as demonstrated through associations, committees, etc.
•   Relevant industry experience is a must, along with knowledge of international policies and standards.

Technical Requirements:   
•   The successful candidate will be responsible for developing criteria for authorization of member organisations
•   S/he will oversee the development of appropriate policies that will serve as the bedrock for the organisation
•   S/he will oversee the development of procedures to support the developed policies and ensure enforcement of such policies
•   S/he will provide coaching, mentoring and leadership for the subordinates
•   S/he must possess exceptional analytical and communication skills (both written and oral) and highly developed team leadership and mentoring skills.

•   The ideal candidate must be able to maintain quality and pay significant attention to detail
•   S/he must be alert to changing situations and must be adaptable in difficult circumstances
