AC asks PDP chair Ogbulafor to step down

The Action Congress (AC) has asked the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Vincent Ogbulafor, to step down from his office, against the backdrop of his impending trial over alleged fraud charges. In a statement in Lagos yesterday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said while Ogbulafor remains innocent of the charges against him until proven guilty, he should set a moral precedence by quitting his post to defend himself against the charges, as it is done in other climes.
