Job Title: BUSINESS PLANNING MANAGER
Department: Marketing and Strategy
Location: Lagos

Job Description:    
•   Assess the MTNN business plan to articulate an understanding of the telecommunications industry as well as future developments to be taken into account
•   Liaise cross functionally with Finance in the overall business planning, budget and reforecast process
•   Gather and analyze market size data for use in business case development and in planning product/solutions investments.
•   Develop  market share estimates based on market data
•   Plan, budget and execute the company`s global industry analyst activities
•   Maintain revenue and financial planning models and develop scenarios within those models
•   Provide data and analysis for executive decision making support
•   Deliver MTN Five year Revenue to Gross Margin Projections
•   Support Marketing Department on strategic plans and decision processes
•   Perform other assignments as determined by the Senior Manager, Planning & Business Analysis

Job Conditions:   Normal MTNN working conditions
Reporting To: SNR. MANAGER, PLANNING & BUSINESS ANALYSIS

Required Skills:
A minimum of 8 years experience of which includes:
•   At least 2 years business planning experience in the telecoms environment or FMCG
•   Experience in hands-on accounting and financial forecasting
•   Strong talent for developing conclusions and recommendations from complex set of data

Employment Status: Permanent
Qualification: A First degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics A masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline will be an added advantage
