DESCRIPTION

The Plant Engineer is responsible for the functional availability of all operating equipment and infrastructure within Oando's terminals and plants under his jurisdiction.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

•   Minimum 1st degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
•   Professional Accreditation is an advantage
•   3 - 5 years cognate experience within the Oil & Gas industry

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

•   Ability to diagnose engineering problems of Plant equipments and Infrastructures
•   Ability to communicate and interpret Engineering / Technical Terminologies.
•   Oral & Written Communication skills
•   Ability to diagnose Pneumatics and electro-pneumatic
•   PC Utilisation ( Excel, Word , Power Point etc)
•   Budgeting and budget monitoring
•   Coaching & Supervisory Skills
•   Employee Performance management
•   Inventory management/stock Control
•   Quality Management
•   Resources management
•   Teamwork
•   Problem solving & Decision making
•   Knowledge of Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical and Control Engineering
