Job Title: Manufacturing Development Specialist
Location: Ilesa, Osun State

Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Development Specialist will coordinate all manufacturing activities and influence the implementation of world class manufacturing processes, identifying, co-operating and actively participating in strategic improvement initiatives

Duties and Responsibilities:
•   Amongst other duties, the Manufacturing Development Specialist will;
•   Coordinate learning and development activities for technical production in line with best practice.
•   Train and coach technical staff where the need arises
•   Implement the brewery plan to support World Class Manufacturing
•   Implement manufacturing work practices and principles
•   Provide leadership for on-going manufacturing development strategies
•   Promote knowledge management processes
•   Apply value chain and improvement tools
•   Facilitate and co-ordinate the technical selection process
•   Provide industrial engineering support

Qualifications and Skills required:
•   The occupant of this position should possess;
•   Minimum of B.SC in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering
•   Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience preferably in a fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment
•   Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage

Key competencies and attributes:
Practical knowledge of manufacturing development programme
Deep technical knowledge of a brewery
Demonstrate high initiative, be independent and proactive
Attention to details
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
