Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Design and Construction Project Managers in the Facilities Management Division (FMD) of the Technology and General Services Department (TGS), this position is responsible for the development of the Fund's requirements for architectural and specialty systems and for ensuring their incorporation into the design of the HQ1 building and for participating in the successful construction and post-construction close-out of the HQ1 Renewal Program.

Duties and Responsibilities
•   Leads the organization of the interface between the staff and the design team. Researches and documents tenant design and specialty system (i.e. AV/IT) requirements from tenants, facilitates the delivery of those requirements from design through construction.
•   Develops and reviews the architectural and specialty systems design (AV/IT). Ensures that the Fund's requirements are integrated into the design or if their requirements are not feasible for any reason the rationale is communicated to the appropriate organizational unit.

Candidates should meet the following criteria:
•   Educational development, typically acquired by the completion of a relevant advanced university degree, supplemented by a minimum of four years of professional experience in Real Estate, Facilities or Design and Construction field, or equivalent; or a bachelor's degree, supplemented by a minimum of ten years of relevant professional experience in Real Estate, Facilities or Design and Construction field, is required.
•   Experience in facility design, construction, and/or project management of large, complex, institutional projects.
•   Possess demonstrable project management and organizational skills, strong written and speaking skills, and experience in projects of a scope similar to that defined above.
