This is to inform and advise all candidates who chose new Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State as their first choice in the 2011/2012 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint  Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and scored 180 and above, that date for the Post-UTME screening have been scheduled as indicated below:

Venue: Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti
Date: Saturday, October 15, 2011
Time: 10:00am

(a)        Candidates are to pay a screening fee of One Thousand Naira only (N1,400.00) in bank draft drawn from any Bank payable to the University.
(b)        Candidates should come along with writing materials i.e. HB pencil and eraser.
(c)        Candidates are required to present their SSCE/NECO/NAPTEB result(s).
(d)        Candidates are also required to present their 2011/12 UTME Result Slip.

THE FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OYE-EKITI 2011/2012 POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE (SATURDAY, 15TH OCTOBER, 2011)

POST UTME TESTS
In line with the guidelines for admissions into undergraduate degree programmes, the University has scheduled its 2011/2012 post-UTME screening tests for Saturday, 15th October, 2011 at 10.00 a.m.

VENUE
Ekiti State University (formerly University of Ado-Ekiti), Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State

REGISTRATION FEE
Each candidate will be required to pay One Thousand, Four Hundred Naira (N1,400.00) only, excluding bank charges as Registration fee

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
1.   Visit any branch of Fidelity Bank Plc, UBA Plc, Access Bank Plc, FinBank, Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) and First Bank Plc.
2.   Request for payment for Registration fee for Federal University Oye-Ekiti Post-UTME.
3.   Note the Registration fee of one thousand, four hundred Naira (N1,400.00) only, excluding bank charges and pay on e-Transact platform at any of the banks listed above.
4.   You will receive a print out with receipt number and confirmation order number.
5.   Visit Federal University Oye-Ekiti website www.fuoye.edu.ng and click on post-UTME link from the homepage
6.   Go to Portal Payment Section and insert the information received from the bank. This will enable you access to the application form online.
7.   Complete the Application Form online and ensure that you fill all the sections of the application form.
i.   Attach scanned copies of passport photograph
ii.   Submit application online.
8.   Candidates are advised to download their Post-UTME application forms after submission and bring with them to the venue of screening on Saturday, 15th October, 2011.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
•   Please use exactly the same names (and in the same order) as used on your JAMB registration form;
•   submit a valid e-mail address and a valid cell phone number in your Registration Form

ELIGIBILITY
•   Candidates who obtained the UTME cut-off scores of 180 and above who chose Federal University Oye-Ekiti as their 1st or 2nd choice
•   Candidates who did not chose the Federal University Oye-Ekiti as 1st or 2nd choice but obtained a minimum score of 200 in UTME can also apply

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMITTANCE INTO SCREENING VENUE
i)   Receipt issued to candidate at the point of payment in the bank
ii)   UTME result slip
iii)   Photocopies of SSCE, GCE, NECO or NABTEB results
iv)   Downloaded Application Form
v)   Writing materials – HB Pencils and Erasers

CAUTION
The following items are not allowed into the screening halls:
•   Mathematical Tables
•   Calculators
•   Biros and Pens
•   Cell Phones

Candidates who arrived at the venue of screening after the commencement of the test will not be allowed to take the test. Candidates who make false declaration of UTME scores and Ordinary Level Grades (SSCE, GCE, NECO or NABTEB as well as State of Origin shall not be considered for admission.

CLOSING DATE FOR REGISTRATION
Registration for Post-UTME closes on Friday, 7th October, 2011.
