Outrage over fuel subsidy removal

President Jonathan's proposal to the National Assembly for stoppage of fuel subsidies starting in January provoked angry reactions yesterday from labour unions, opposition political parties and lawmakers, who said the removal would worsen poverty and insecurity and further damage the economy.
