The major purpose of the whole Bible, Old and New Testaments, is to reveal God and His relationship with us. That especially, primarily today, means fellowship with Jesus. That is the great value of spending time with the Bible – to know Jesus better. That again raises the quality of life while we are here, and also prepares us for a more wonderful outlook when at last we enter the land of glory.
