Oyo’s N2.8b contracts: No signed payment orders

DETECTIVES probing Oyo State's alleged N8.2 billion fake contracts were shocked at the weekend to learn that payments were not documented. Officials paid on verbal directives, sources close to the investigation said yesterday.

The N8.2billion was deducted from the Excess Crude Funds of the 33 local governments.
