IITA, with Headquarters at Ibadan, is an international Agricultural Research Centre in the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR), which is an association of about 50 countries, international and regional organizations, and private foundations. IITA seeks to increase agricultural production in a sustainable way in order to improve the nutritional status and well-being of people in tropical Sub-Saharan Africa.

Position 1: Senior Human Resources (HR) Assistant (2 years renewable contract)

Responsibilities:
-Assist to coordinate Internationally Recruited Staff (IRS) recruitment process;
-Issues contract letter/contract extension/relocation/termination letters for all IRS
-Keep IRS records and maintain effective filing system etc.

Qualification and Experience:
BSc/HND in Humanities, Management and Social Sciences with 8 years working experiences. Familiarity with administrative, secretarial skills and International NGOs is essential.

Position 2: Powerhouse Equipment Operator (2 years renewable contract)

Responsibilities:
-In the day to day operation and maintenance of 1500KVA generators and their synchronizing panels.
-In the operation and maintenance of equipment in both 11KV powerhouse and the 33KV substation.
-To carry out any other duty as assigned

Qualification and Experience
ND/C&G/Trade Test 1 (Electrical Engineering) plus valid Class 'E' Drivers license with minimum of 4 years relevant working experience in reputable organization.

Position 3: Auto-Mechanic 1 (2 years renewable contract)

Responsibilities:
-Carry out repairs on both petrol and diesel vehicles;
-Carry out pre-trip checks on pool vehicles;
-Perform any other jobs as may be assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:
WAEC, Trade Test 1 in Auto-Mechanical plus valid Class 'E' Drivers' License.
