The  U.S.  Consulate General in Lagos is seeking to employ a suitable and qualified candidate for the MotorPool Administrative Clerk position in  the  General Services
Office.

WORK HOURS: Full-time; 40 hours/week
SALARY: OR -Ordinarily Resident–N1,651,315 p.a.(Starting basic salary)

In addition to the basic salary, all allowances will be paid in accordance with the Mission Local Compensation Plan.
NOR - Not Ordinarily Resident - AEFM - US$31,963                             
EFM - US$27,431 Starting Salary p.a.

BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:
•   The incumbent performs clerical, administrative and secretarial functions in the MotorPool section to ICASS standards. 
•   He/she tracks vehicle and boat usage information and prepares usage reports, as well as ICASS billing reports. Coordinates all ICASS reports for MotorPool, liaises with the Financial Management Office (FMO) to ensure all necessary reports are submitted in an accurate and timely manner.
•   Incumbent also receives and reviews daily vehicle and boat trip logs for completeness and accuracy and tracks maintenance and fuel supplies used on the vehicles and boats.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

1. Completion of secondary school is required.
2. At least two (2) years of clerical experience utilizing computer software is required.
3. Level III (Fluent) Speaking /Reading/Writing in English is required. 
4. Must have a working knowledge of office management to include report writing, filing and general accounting.
5. Must have a minimum of Level II typing ability (40 wpm).
6. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
