The spirit of June 12 was yesterday relived in Akure, the Ondo State capital, with Governor Olusegun Mimiko calling for internal democracy to guarantee free and fair elections. At an event marking the historic day, which was organised by the state government at The Governor's Centre, Mimiko also canvassed for two party system, stressing that democracy would be more virile with the practice.
