Ajayi Crowther University was founded by Province I of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) and was licensed by the Federal Government of the Republic of Nigeria to operate as a Private University on 7th January 2005.  The University is located along Oyo/Ogbomoso Road at the old site of St. Andrew College, Oyo. 

The following vacancies exist at the university:

1. University Librarian
2. The Vice-Chancellor

Description for University Librarian:
The University Librarian shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of the University Library and the coordinator of all library services in the University.  The University Librarian, as a Principal Officer of the University is expected to participate in the total life of the University which requires living in Oyo town.

Description for the Vice-Chancellor:
The Vice-Chancellor is the Chief Executive and Academic Officer of the University.  He is also the ex-officio Chairman of Senate.  He serves as the link between the Governing Council and the University Community and has the overall responsibility for the achievement of the goals and objectives of the University.
