Job Purpose:
To minimise roll rate of potential Non Performing Loans through effective and efficient collection strategies and skills.

Key Accountabilities:
•   Daily actioning of the loan arrears report & VAF arrears report as assigned by the Collections Team Leader.
•   Maintain daily call activity logs of RPCs, PTPS & PTPKs.
•   Strict adherence to work and break schedules.
•   Effective utilization of daily reports to ensure regularisation of all pre-NPL accounts.
•   Educate Customers when necessary.
•   Watchlisting of accounts when due.
•   Other duties as assigned by the Collections Team Leader.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Educational Qualification:
•   Minimum of a B.Sc degree in social sciences

Work Experience:
•   One year experience in a Credit Collections environment.
•   Ability to work with large spreadsheets
•   Required Competencies

Technical Competencies:
•   Sound knowledge of retail lending analysis techniques, advances, credit criteria, credit policies, risk and financial analysis, credit control and application thereof.
•   Sound understanding of the Bank's products suite – Unsecured Lending, Home Loans, Vehicle and Asset Financing etc.
•   Sound knowledge of SBG's credit policies and processes.
•   Working knowledge of MS Office suite with emphasis on MS Excel
