Morocco disaster: Eguavoen quits, Keshi charges ‘new discoveries’

In line with the provisions of his employment contract, Coach of the national U-23 team, Austin Eguavoen, has resigned his appointment following his inability to qualify Nigeria for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Eguavoen team on Friday in Marrakech beat Algeria 4-1 in their last Group game of the ongoing inaugural CAF U-23 Championship, but failed to progress to the semi-finals stage following their earlier losses to host Morocco and Senegal.
