FG introduces Evaluation concept in private, public schools

Disturbed by the dismal performances of students in public examinations, the federal government has said it is  introducing the institutionalization of school evaluation concept to all public and private schools in the country.

Minister of education, Professor Ruqayyatu Ahmed Rufai stated this at a four- day Quality Assurance Workshop for state Inspectors of education, Principals of schools and local government supervisors in Minna, Niger state.

The minister said the public outcry in recent times over the declining quality of education in the country is justifiable, noting that the federal government is committed towards halting the trend.
