Job Title: Vulcanizer (2-year renewable contract)

Location: Ibadan

Organisation: International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA)

Sector: International Non-Profit Research-For-Development (R4D) Organization

 

Duties:

•           Removal and fitting of tyres

•           Repair of tyres and tubes

•           Wheel balance “on and off”

•           Identify and gauge pressure of different sizes of tyre.

•           General cleaning of the workshop

•           Any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor

 

Qualification and Experience: First School Leaving Certificate and Trade Test III with minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience.

 

The ideal candidate must

•           Be able to identify different sizes of tyres and their pressure requirements.

•           Have thorough knowledge of tractor tyres removal and fitting.

•           Be young, strong and energetic.
