Job Title: Analyst / Contract Administrator

Primary Skills: cost estimating, post contract management, tendering, contracting activities

Description: – Provide support in respect of cost estimating and spend analysis in conjunction with the Contracts Analysts for tender and contract applications and proposals  – Assist in the preparation of commercial evaluation templates ensuring required Tender Board and Industry standards and requirements are strictly adhered to.  – Assist in bid evaluation and reconciliation with requisite Government Regulatory bodies ensuring high standards of ethics are adhered to throughout each exercise  – Assist the Contracts Analyst/Sponsor in the final collation of remuneration schedules ensuring all commercial requirements are adequately covered  – Assist Contract Sponsors by providing ground support in respect of issues pertaining to spend analysis and post contract award management, ensuring all invoices meet contractual requirements and requisite addenda are generated timeously to cover variations and claims.  – Conduct regular review of all assigned contracts ensuring that time schedules are being adhered to and contract ceiling values are not exceeded

Additional duties / responsibilities are:  – Provision of general support in respect of tendering and contracting activities as may be required by the Manager, Contracts Dev. & Admin. Dept

Education Qualification: Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Quantity Survey, statistics or any other Commercial discipline.

Professional Qualification:

Membership of relevant Professional Institution such as Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) or any equivalent Institute will be useful but not mandatory

Functional/ Technical:

•   Good working knowledge and understanding of tendering and contracting activities

•   Proficient in MSWord/Excel/PowerPoint

•   Proficient the use of Sun and/or SAP Systems

•   Good verbal and written communication skills

•   Good contract drafting skills
