Wife of late Chief Gani Fewehinmi, the renowned human rights activist, Mrs Ganiyat Fawehinmi, on Friday, said President Goodluck Jonathan has failed as  a leader, just as she admonished civil society groups and Nigerians generally not to relent in the struggle against the removal of fuel subsidy by the Federal Government.

Addressing the  press  at the Correspondents' Chapel of the Nigeria Union Journalists (NUJ) in Osogbo, Osun State, after a protest organised by civil society groups under the aegis of Joint Action Front (JAF), Fawehinmi said: "The masses are suffering and majority of Nigerians only exist rather than living. We must not relent in this struggle. We must fight Jonathan to  a standstill over this anti-people policy. This president has failed. He does not depict his name 'Goodluck,' but he is something else."
