At Baker Hughes the purpose of this job is to:

•   Provide level 2 process support to local and regional users, as well as provide global support of process area in which involved.

•   Support all aspects of A-B-C IT solution deployment model.

Duties and Responsibilities

•   Establish and develop effective relationships within the business.

•   Investigate, diagnose and resolve Level 2 issues within agreed service levels.

•   Conduct Root Cause Analysis of problems and implement appropriate corrective actions and improvements.

•   Develop business cases, functional requirements documentation and prototypes when required

•   Perform quality assurance testing of new software releases

•   Assist in the change management activities required during, after, and post deployment for new solutions

•   Augment the deployment teams for system implementations

•   Audits and drives adoption of global processes and promotes best practices.

•   Identifies training requirements and delivers required training support for end users

•   Experience, Skills and Knowledge required

•   Experience in a business facing IT role and/or customer service environment

•   A broad awareness of business processes in manufacturing, product engineering, supply chain, reliability, HS&E, finance, sales and marketing, and HR, or a deeper level of knowledge in one or two of the processes.

•   Demonstrated capability to interface with multiple levels of management and departments

•   A broad awareness of business processes in manufacturing, product engineering, supply chain, reliability, HS&E, finance, sales and marketing, and HR.

•   Knowledge of major standard hardware and software systems

•   Knowledge of online technical resources

•   Process improvement and measurement skills

•   Ability to leverage support best-practices from other regions of the organization

•   Excellent analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills

•   Effective communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation skills

•   Exposure to SAP, Maximo and other major systems would be beneficial.

Education required:

•   ITIL, CMMI, IIBA,CBAP, PMP or PMI Project Management preferred

•   Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a Technical Degree
