Scam Alert: GTB ACCOUNT SUSPENSION NOTICE
« on: Feb 09, 2012, 12:25 AM »
Today, I received the email below informing me to update my records with the bank to prevent my account being terminated. If you receive this email, please do not treat. If you have provided your details, please contact your back immediately. I have proof to show you that this email did not originate from Guaranty Trust Bank Plc (GTB). The scammers just use fake link and clone the bank's website.

Do not be deceived by the link shown (https://ebank.gtbank.com/ibank3/update/login.aspx), when you clicked on it, you will be redirected to fake link (http://www.gtbiupdate.tk/) which is a clone website.

Please read the email below and share this alert with your friends.
