THE JOB:  – Responding immediately and safely to emergency calls  – Maintaining equipment, assisting in the testing of fire hydrants and checking emergency water supplies  – Undertaking drills and physical training and taking part in training on techniques

QUALIFICATION:  – O' level certificate  – Certificate in basic fire fighting obtained at state or federal fire training school

THE PERSON:  – Physically fit.  – Demonstrate aptitude for using tools and equipment  – Ability to absorb verbal and written communication  – Basic numeric and literacy ability

EXPERIENCE:  – Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
