Role Synopsis:

At Baker Hughes, this position is responsible for carrying out efficient servicing and maintenance of equipment and vehicles as required

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

•   Provide support for the product line(s), ensuring that equipment up time is maximized

•   Check equipment failure report from onsite supervisor, check faults on unit and report to supervisor

•   Repair faults as instructed by Supervisor

•   Carry out routine service checks as per Quality Assurance Procedure

•   Complete all job cards and ensure unit is ready for Transportation to client location

•   Ensure tools are kept in good condition and that workplace is kept tidy and safe

•   Attend offshore installations as when required to repair Baker Equipment at clients operating locations

Basic Qualifications:

•   OND Mech Engineering Minimum 2 yrs experience in a similar environment

•   Or City and guilds or any related technical certificate with 3 years plus practical hands-on experience in a similar industry

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

•   Proficient knowledge of product line and proper working of equipment and utilization of tools.  

•   Good communication skills – both verbal and written.

•   Good analytical skills.
