Eligibility:

Citizens of one of the following CCRIF member countries.

Applicants should be holders of a First Class or Upper Second Class Honours degree (or have a GPA of at least 3.5) and have some related work experience.

Scholarship Open for International Students: Yes

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, and Turks & Caicos Islands.

Scholarship Description: Two of the Masters scholarships are valued at a maximum of US$40,000 each. The MBA scholarship is valued at a maximum of US$60,000 and is specifically for those applicants who would have gained admission to an MBA programme with a Major in risk management and/or insurance or a related field. The scholarships will be awarded to students who have demonstrated exceptional performance in academia, are involved or currently work in the field of disaster risk management or sustainable development in the Caribbean and have a record of broader community involvement. Preference will be given to individuals with supporting nominations from publically funded (Government) national and regional agencies engaged in the areas of risk management, disaster management, meteorology, engineering and from the Ministries of Finance, Planning, Environment etc.
