PROJECT COORDINATOR at JOB OPPORTUNITIES, RIPMAPP      VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Rice Post-Harvest Processing and Marketing Pilot Project in Nasarawa and Niger States (RIPMAPP) supported by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) contributes to improvement of quality of domestic rice in Nasarawa and Niger States through conducting various training programs. The Project Team represented by IC NET Limited, Japan, is looking for experienced and qualified Nigerian national and/or resident Japanese to fill the position of the Project mentioned below.

POSITION: PROJECT COORDINATOR: 1person

He/She will work at the project office Abuja and Lafia, Nasarawa State.

MAIN DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITY

To assist JICA experts in preparation and implementation of surveys, training programs, seminars, workshops, and other activities.

To collect and organize documents, information and data related to the Project activities

To support the operation of the Project Office

To assist in schedule management of the Project

To assist in accounting work

To assist in document preparation

To perform any other duties as required including secretarial work.

REQUIREMENT (QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE)

Holder bachelor's degree or equivalent

Should have more than three years working experience with an international organization

Should have excellent ability to speak, read and write in English.

Should have appropriate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Have knowledge of accounting.

CONTRACT DURATION

One year from April in 2012. The Contract would be extended up to three years
