Day Waterman College, a modern CO-educational boarding school is looking for outstanding teachers in the following positions and subjects:

Vice Principal (Pastoral)

The Vice Principal (Pastoral) will assist the Principal in providing quality education for students in the care of Day Waterman College. He/She will work collaboratively with the Leadership Team in leading and managing Day Waterman College.

The Vice Principal (Pastoral) will be expected to support the work of the Vice Principal (Academic) in the monitoring of curriculum delivery and the continuous improvement of teaching / learning. In addition experience in pastoral health care, boarding and leadership of performing arts and activities programmes is desirable.

Female Gym Instructor

Must be able to teach Yoga, Aerobics, Circuit Training and experience of dance classes such as Zumba, and personal training will be an advantage.

Curriculum Leader in Drama / Performaning Arts

Applicants for this position should be experienced in teaching IGCSE / A Level. IB teaching experience will be advantageous. In addition, the candidate should have some experience in departmental leadership and also in the mentoring of PGCE teachers. He/she should also have evidence of running school productions.

Deputy Head of Science

Applicants for this position should be experienced in teaching in teaching IGCSE /A Level. IB teaching experience will be advantageous. In addition, the candidate should have some experience in departmental leadership and also in mentoring of PGCE teachers.

Teacher of Science

Applicants for this position should be experienced in teaching IGCSE / A Level. IB teaching experience will be advantageous.

Teacher of Science

Applicants for this position should be experienced in teaching Physics to IGCSE and A-Level would be most desireable.

Teacher of Humanities

Applications are sought for the full time position of Teacher of Humanities. Applicants for this position should be experienced in teaching in Religious Education to IGCSE level. The role requires a committed, enthusiastic, dynamic and well-qualified teacher who is robust, can multi-task and deliver to tight deadlines.

Teacher of Maths & ICT

Applicants for this position should have atleast a PGCE or it's equivalent In English Language and should be experienced in teaching IGCSE/A Level. For Curriculum Leaders positions, applicants are expected to have:

Experience of the English National Curriculum, and have taught to A level / IB for at least 5 years.

A PGCE or equivalent is essential.

Experience in English National Curriculum, A level, and ideally IB preferable.

A CRB or equivalent will be required.
