Position Description

Purpose of Job To test implementation of documented processes and procedures under the Governance framework in-country and provide support to in-country Governance function.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation of Processes Compliance Testing across PBB & CIB  Understand and monitor compliance with Regulatory Stipulations as relates Credit e.g. CBN Prudential Guidelines; BOFIA; etc. Provides required monthly updates on RCSA and KRIs to Risk Management. Tracking of GIA/EA/CRR findings and timely follow-up with responsible officers and escalation. Ensure implementation of GIA/EA/CRR recommendations and facilitate removal from the system (where applicable). Monthly Compliance Report (to include summary of monthly testing results, RCSAs, Credit KRIs and Outstanding Audit Items). Manage hosting of CRMC Minutes and Compliance Test results on Sharepoint. Manage Credit Governance shared drive and file away documents in an efficient manner for ease of retrieval. Update Governance Calendar, track and trigger deliverables. Ensure timely submission of reports to CIB & PBB Credit Governance – JHB (a listing of expected returns should be saved on the Credit Governance shared drive). Support HoG regarding Governance activities as may be requested. Undertake Credit specific projects as may be assigned by HoG from time to time.  Success indicators Adherence to testing plan Implementation of test recommendations with no incidence of repeat findings. No overdue audit items being reported No delay in receipt of monthly reports by CIB/PBB Credit Governance JHB or Risk Management. Driven to continually improve him / herself together with the team and broader business.

Broad knowledge of the applicable Acts and Bank manuals. Knowledge and understanding of the regulatory environment governing financial services in the business Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite Operational Risk / Audit Experience  Experience Minimum 2 years experience in a Compliance function In-country experience would be an advantage
