A multi talented American singer, Beyonce Knowles has written a special letter to the First Lady of U.S., Michelle Obama lauding her as the ultimate African American role model for her young daughter.

The hit-maker, who became a first-time mother in January with the birth of baby Blue Ivy, penned an open letter to Mrs. Obama, thanking her for fostering a positive environment for black females.

According to GlobalGrind.com which obtained a copy of the note, Bey wrote, 'Michelle is the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman. She is a caring mother, she's a loving wife, while at the same time, she is the First Lady! No matter the pressure, and the stress of being under the microscope – she's humble, loving and sincere. She builds and nurtures her family, while also looking out for so many millions in so many ways.'

'Michelle, thank you so much for every single thing that you do for us – I am proud to have my daughter grow up in world where she has people like you to look up to.'
